I am an Assessor of the City of Hamtramck and have worked in City Hall since 2017. Before working in City Hall, I worked for nearly 15 years at the Hamtramck Public Library. I have volunteered at many events in the city and even served on the board of Hamtramck SOUP, a program that provided micro-grants for community projects.

I have served as the Co-Chair of the Hamtramck Labor Day Festival since 2012 and have been on the festival committee since 2010. The festival is a regional event that brings over 100,000 people to Hamtramck over Labor Day Weekend.

I am also the chairman of the board of the Hamtramck Parks Conservancy, a non-profit that improves Veterans’ and Playfair parks in Hamtramck. We have fundraised millions of dollars, which are being put back into improving the parks for Hamtramck and Metro Detroit residents.
