According to the editor of Polish Weekly, the most crucial event of the last week was Chopiniana, organized by the American Polish Cultural Society in Troy, and the 40th Anniversary celebration of the American Polish Society.
Chopiana—a tribute to Fryderyk Chopin—is an event that will stay with us for a long time. This year, Derek Szlauer (piano), Joseph Gray (violin), and Brendan Callies ( cello) performed.
We want to thank the performers, the organizers, and each of you for attending. Photos from the event are now available in the Polish Weekly gallery—we invite you to relive the experience with us once again.
Here’s a visual and narrative glimpse into recent moments from Detroit’s Polish-American community, as captured by Tygodnik Polski.
